Don’t Be A Sheep: Ron Brunk Brings An Important Message With New Release, ‘Psycho Warfare’

In Ron Brunk’s latest release, ‘Psycho Warfare’, he shares the important message of not giving in to the lies we’re fed on the daily.

Featured on his album, ‘Ted And Ronnie Go To Odd’, released last summer, ‘Psycho Warfare’ is an urgent call to question everything, and shines a mirror – a black one perhaps – on modern life. Upbeat to the point of distress, the song shares with the listener about a world that constantly bombards us with messages that tell us exactly what to believe, how to feel, and how to live, all while making a profit from us. We have become so dependent on technology and media, that it’s nigh on impossible to go back to how it was before, and because of this we have enabled ourselves to be manipulated and brainwashed – ever so subtly – by the powers that be. Ron Brunk’s message is loud and clear: “Don’t be a sheep.”

The animated music video for ‘Psycho Warfare’ is somewhat ironic in that it makes use of a lot of AI, a tool which itself has been used for plenty of misinformation. It’s a trippy visual, overstimulating, and sadly, all too familiar. The terrifying outside world is saturated with manipulative schemes everywhere we look, and we can’t even get a break watching TV. Ron Brunk doesn’t go so far as to say, “reject modernity, embrace tradition”, but he comes close. Still, there’s plenty of time to open our eyes, ears, and hearts to the truth that’s all around us.
