Eddy Puyol Is Celebrating Having Made It In ‘Bang Bang Baby’

Growing up listening to iconic 70s and 80s greats, such as Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, and Lionel Richie, Eddy Puyol (pronounced “pooh-yole”) takes his passion for life, family, and faith into his innovative hip-hop tracks, and his new single, ‘Bang Bang Baby’, is a high energy anthem of reflection and celebration.

The title for ‘Bang Bang Baby’ comes from Puyol’s previous career-reflecting track, ‘This One’s For You’. Working with long time collaborator, Chuck Hemann, Puyol brings his energetic rhymes and beats to the fore, and in so doing gives the listener the feeling that they’re standing on top of a mountain, looking down on all they’ve achieved. While there’s a lot of humour in the verses, it’s certain that Puyol is musically gifted, as he raps in powerfully in double time, and he triumphantly reflects his most sincere appreciation to God for allowing him to build a career, passion, and family.

The music video for ‘Bang Bang Baby’, directed by Will Thomas, is a family affair, as we see Puyol hitting the links at the North Palm Beach Country Club, where, incidentally, he recently got married, along wihht his father Orlando, brother Bobby, and friend Adam Jones. They’re living it large on the golf course, with the bright colours, sporty mood, and energetic cuts showing Puyol’s enthusiasm and desire to have a good time. It’s a reflection of Puyol’s joy-centreed life, and an invitation to his viewers to celebrate God’s blessing in their own life’s journey.
