Ron Brunk Sings Of The Ebbing Light Of Life In New Single, ‘Fading’

Ron Brunk returns with the first of 2 new singles, the beautiful and memorable, ‘Fading’.

Ron Brunk’s beautiful vocals are soft and emotive as he accompanies himself on acoustic guitar, before giving way to a short piano solo. Ron is then joined by a choir of angelic voices, as he sings of being surrounded by friends, in the stars, as he’s fading.

It’s a song of the setting sun, the ebbing light of life, approaching the end of the road. It’s a song that’s equally applicable to the end of a life, or the end of the world. It makes you realise that every single one of us is dying – right from the very moment of our birth – we are fading away: some more quickly than others, but still, we are all fading.

Shot beautifully in monochrome, the subtle shades of the music video for ‘Fading’ don’t detract in the slightest from the poignancy of the song, and, in fact, highlight Brunk’s emotive vocals. The chorus is hooky and memorable, and it will stay with you, long after the song itself has reached the end.
