Released on June 12, ‘Last Night’ is the latest track from Birmingham based singer songwriter, Ronzoni Hines. The single follows on from his highly praised debut, ‘Stand Up’.
Ronzoni Hines’ debut single ‘Stand Up’ was received to great acclaim, and garnered a range of alternative versions and remixes, as well as establishing a considerable fanbase for the artist. He looks certain to repeat this success with new single, ‘Last Night’, an R&B anthem with infectious melodies, and a certified dance-hit with its groovy instrumental.
‘Last Night’ tells the story of a first intimate encounter, and all the spontaneity that goes along with it. Taking his inspiration from life’s experiences through the eyes of others, Ronzoni says,
“The song wrote itself, I sang line by line and it was done, I didn’t have to sit there and think of what to write, it just happened.”
The song is vague about what exactly happened “last night”, which Ronzoni says was done deliberately, enabling the listeners to make up their own minds about the nature of the encounter. This gives ‘Last Night’ an authenticity that’s undeniable, and eminently replayable.
Based in Birmingham, Ronzoni Hines is a singer-songwriter and record producer, whose soulful voice is equalled only by his creativity and passion for music. He joined Aston Performing Arts Academy’s Juniorz at the age of 8, and began writing his own songs at 10.
Pressured to follow a conventional career, Ronzoni initially studied engineering, before taking the leap to follow his musical dreams. This bold move has reaped rewards, and seen him perform at a variety of events and venues in Birmingham and beyond, including InspiringBrum, Simmer Down Festival, Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital Christmas Concert, the grand opening of Grand Central Birmingham, various theatres, The MAC, and the prestigious Pride of Birmingham Awards.
‘Last Night’ is out now and is available to stream and download here. Find out more about Ronzoni Hines and his music online on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
