MattO Gives Voice To Frustration In New Single And Video, ‘Let It Out’

MattO channels the likes of Bruce Springsteen in his new heart-wrenching single, ‘Let It Out’.

In the track he gives voice to the frustration we’ve all experienced, compassion fatigue. It’s something that is especially prevalent at this time of year, when we are faced with having to absorb more and more sorrow. There comes a point where we can no longer take the role of patient priest, and we need to share our own worries and despairs.

The music video for ‘Let It Out’, directed by MattO’s frequent collaborator, Marcello Bumbica, sees MattO joined by Milan-based, world-class percussionist Sandro de Bellis, along with guitarist Luca Meneghello. The trio combine their talents, and add their own tenacity and annoyance in response to the constant noise of the world.

The studio shots in the video are interspersed with clips to put us in an mood of transience, moving in the world and through our emotions, a visual representation of the inner and outer journeys we traverse here on earth.
