Shaheed and DJ Supreme Return With New Single And Video, ‘Jazz Men’

Regulars on our site, Shaheed & DJ Supreme bring the goods with their new single and video, ‘Jazz Men’. They’re joined by accomplished jazz guitarist Eric Essix, on their funky tribute to jazz, and its influence on hip-hop.

Melding vibes to create a sensuous bounce, Eric Essix and DJ Supreme lay the foundation for Shaheed’s flow, which sees him spit out bars, vicious yet seamless and direct, focusing on the history shared between jazz and hip-hop.

The music video for ‘Jazz Men’, directed by Richard Giles, sees the three jazz men enjoying each other’s company, as they relax and lounge about. The warmth and welcoming vibe that is long characteristic of Shaheed & DJ Supreme is matched by Eric Essix’s cool calm riffs. It’s an instant classic – like all of the other tracks dropped by this duo.
