Mel Monaco Is Untameable With New Single, ‘Love Tides’

Released August 4, ‘Love Tides’ is the latest single from Niagara Ontario singer songwriter, pianist, and guitarist, Mel Monaco.

A super catchy track, ‘Love Tides’ reminds us that we don’t need to keep holding onto the things that stress us, and that we should instead set ourselves free and instead grab hold of the beautiful things that are ever-present in our lives.

With an approach that is both energetic and charismatic, Mel reaches out to the listener, drawing them in with her contagious vocals. Fans of artists such as Dua Lipa, Lizzo, and Jamiroquai will especially enjoy her sound, but it’s certainly one that will appeal to all listeners.

Speaking of the song, Mel said,

“Love Tides is all about embracing the summer sunshine and celebrating love! With so much going on in the world, it can sometimes be difficult to remember that life is beautiful and we have so much to rejoice in, especially when you’re on a boat! We’ve been digging our sound lately, and we like to call it yacht pop! If you aren’t on a boat, music stylings from Mel Monaco sure make you groove like you are. Love Tides is a reflection of where Mel Monaco is right now, living in the moment and showing gratitude for every opportunity and experience in life”.

Mel Monaco describes her sound as “yacht rock”, and so it’s very appropriate that the accompanying music video for ‘Love Tides’ should be filmed on a boat.
