Released on June 2 this year, ‘Treat Me Right’ is the latest single from British-Italian singer-songwriter, FedStar. The track is the follow-up to her successful 2022 release, ‘Don’t let me go’.

‘Treat Me Right’ is an upbeat track with a pumping tempo which explores the theme of “treating your partner right”; crucial to any successful relationship. Drawing from her own experiences for inspiration, FedStar looked deep within to reveal what were her deepest desires from a romantic partner. The song was composed and written in an incredibly short time, alongside GI Records in the studio. The track is the perfect balance between a dance anthem and an introspective reflection on her feelings, and the key aspects of a relationship.
With a popping synth instrumental reminiscent of the 80s sound of Kylie Minogue, and beautifully rich vocals, ‘Treat Me Right’ is sure to be a dance hit with its club-ready sound.
FedStar has been enchanted by music and dance from a very early age, with the spark igniting her interest from the age of 5, leading her to carve out her own unique artistic identity through songwriting from her teen years. Her musical journey has taken many twists and turns, including a stint at Acting School, leading her to a role in the TV series, ‘Ho sposato uno Sbirro 2’. She attracted the attention of Grazia Italy magazine, and her first recordings were put under the spotlight, validating her talent. She enrolled at London’s British and Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM) in 2015, to further hone her craft, at this time adopting her moniker, “FedStar”. Her back catalogue includes the singles, ‘Set Me Free’, ‘Freedom’, ‘Samba y Banda’, ‘Candy Man’, ‘On & On’, and ‘Don’t Ever Let Me Go’, reflecting her musical diet growing up, which predominantly revolved around Pop, Dance, and EDM, as well as artists such as Madonna, and Jennifer Lopez.
