Slick Naim Releases Finessed Flex Track ‘In The Vault’, The Title Song From His Most Recent Album

With his new single, ‘In The Vault’, the title track from his 2022 album, Algerian-American hip hop artist Slick Naim, who makes Brooklyn his home shows that not only does he want it all, he also has it all, and does it all.

You’ve heard of a triple threat – well Algerian-American hip-hop artist Slick Naim is a septuple threat! He’s an award-winning rapper, producer, and R&B artist. If that wasn’t enough, he’s also an Emmy-nominated writer, director, actor, and TV/film producer. To date he has under his belt four albums, 15 music videos, and more than 70 songs, and along the way he’s amassed millions of listens, views, and fans, the latter of whom respect his vulnerable, yet contagious, hustling spirit.

‘In The Vault’ is a demonstration of what he’s got; essentially a flex, he’s boasting about all the ideas he’s got, as well as the finished tracks stashed “in the vault”. He casually turns away those who doubt him, while at the same time he’s letting his fans know what’s to come. With a scathing and confident beat, to match the lyrics, he delivers each ice-cold line with a confidence that is sure to ignite the audience when he performs it live.

The music video for ‘In The Vault’ is more of a mini-movie than a visual. Expertly shot and edited, it clearly takes inspiration from post-apocalyptic films such as Mad Max, as it literally lays waste to his doubters and haters. In a stark desert landscape, Slick and his wife Reema, who also directed the clip, see off anyone who would try and force him off his throne.
