Shaheed and DJ Supreme Are Dropping Words Of Wisdom In Latest Single And Video, ‘World Of Water’

There’s no stopping Shaheed and DJ Supreme, as they return with their new single and video, ‘World Of Water’. Bringing back the basics of old-school, feel-good hip hop, the pair from Birmingham Alabama are ready to give you an education in rhyme, wisdom, and above all, generosity.

The duo are representing their hometown and repping it well. They use hip-hop to teach new generations, opening it up to its ability to motivate, heal, and inspire. Their label, Communicating Vessels, and non-profit K.R.U. (Knowledge, Rhythm, and Understanding), through which they have launched community initiatives, has seen them forge a path in Birmingham. All the while they’ve been releasing soulful instant classics, such as the tracks on their upcoming LP, ‘The Art Of Throwing Darts’, from which new single, ‘World Of Water’, is taken.

For the new track, Shaheed and DJ Supreme are laying down some wisdom on the kids, and across a spacious, swaying beat, they promote the beauty of nature, and most of all, the live-giving gift of water.

The music video for ‘World Of Water’ sees the pair rock up to Brimingham-Southern College’s Southern Environmental Center, and the McWane Science Center, accompanied by a group of elementary school children, all set to soak up the lessons of science. Their enjoyment is palpable as they progress from one exhibit to the next, keeping it real, yet also keeping it fun.
