The Essential Advent Calendar: December 18 – UK Pop Artist Lauren Amour Releases Christmas Song, ‘Please Santa’

‘Please Santa’ is the new single from Lauren Amour, and it’s behind the 18th door of the 2022 Essential Advent Calendar.

Lauren Amour, from the North East of England, released ‘Please Santa’ on December 2, and it’s dedicated to George Shaw, who died on November 13 this year, from Brain Cancer. George was like a father figure to Lauren, and a great supporter of her music. The song’s release marks the end of a very exciting year for Lauren musically, and it’s a track that means a great deal to her.

‘Please Santa’ comes with a gorgeous music video, directed and filmed by Pippa Poppay. It features Lauren singing at Santa’s Grotto, in Hawthorn, County Durham, accompanied by Lily Brooke on piano, who also supplies backing vocals.

Santa’s Grotto Hawthorn this year are raising money for the charity Children with Cancer. If you’d like to donate, you can use this link, with all proceeds going straight to the gofundme page.

We no longer accept unpaid PR agency work. We believe the creative arts have value, and this includes writing. As always, we will write about artists who contact us - or who we contact - for free - but we can no longer work free of charge for PR agencies. We work hard, we put in a lot of hours writing, and we ask that you respect that. Contact us for our very reasonable rates.
