Sipporah International Releases New Music Video For Her Single, ‘Envy Peru – A Drag Queen Parody’

In a parody of Envy Peru, winner of the first season of Drag Race Holland, Sipporah International shares her comic genius with the world by way of her latest music video.

The clip sees Sipporah against a plethora of video backdrops, as well as a number of visual effects, and she bears an uncanny resemblance to the famous Peruvian drag queen.

Sipporah switches in chaotic fashion between musical theatre styles – one moment she is singing jazz, a la Liza Minnelli in Cabaret; the next she is belting it out hard rock stylee, all while the lyrics scroll along on the bottom of the screen.

When not parodying drag queens, Sipporah International is a dancer, singer, songwriter, and voice-over actor. Her childhood was filled watching musicals, including ‘The Wiz’, and ‘Footloose’, and she attributes much of her inspiration to the likes of those productions, as well as the choreographic talents of Debbie Allen on ‘Fame’.

Sipporah also began writing songs as a child, and to date has written across the spectrum of musical genres, including ballads, musical theatre, and of course, parody.
