Louise Sheene Releases Her Latest Single, ‘Taking Shots’

Louise Sheene is a rising artist from North East Yorkshire, and her new single, ‘Taking Shots’, is packed full of energetic rhythms, catchy melodies, and a beat that pays homage to the Afrobeat sound.

It was a panic attack that inspired Louise Sheene to write ‘Taking Shots’, and she has perfectly captured the heady feeling of not quite being sure of where you are in the single. Backing vocals sound distant and mysterious, while Louise has given her own vocals a reverby sound, adding to the out of body feeling to the track.

Louise wrote and recorded ‘Taking Shots’ in her bedroom, and the song serves as a great example of her talent, and impressive DIY ability. Still only 22, Louise Sheene has an impressive musical record behind her, having started singing in a choir at the age of 6. Louise has been a pop fan all her life, and her dream is to play her music in front of a large audience, and support the likes of The Vamps, or Jessie J. She’s well on her way to achieving her dreams, with ‘Taking Shots’ amassing more than 164 thousand streams so far on SoundCloud alone.

‘Taking Shots’ is out now, and can be streamed and downloaded here. You can find out more about Louise Sheene and her music online on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Spotify, and Apple Music.
