Vanity Wyze ‘Stayed Down’ With New Rap Single And Music Video Featuring Sonny King.

‘Stayed Down’, featuring Sonny King, is the new rap single for Vanity Wyze, and is taken from his new album, ‘Vanity before Wyze’, which was released in March. The track is just one way in which Vanity Wyze is rising up through the musical ranks, having found a place on the soundtrack of Lizzo’s hit TV show, ‘Watch Out for the Big Grrrls’.

Vanity Wyze observed the unique stylings of both the North and South rap artists, and applied them to his own music. The result is an interesting artist whose name should soon be found among those of the greats.

Vanity Wyze’s music is defined by the valuable lessons he’s learned along the way, all of which have contributed to his success. Hs full-length LP Vanity before Wyze, was released in March this year, and contains 10 tracks. Now a professional recording artist, Vanity Wyze works full-time, alongside the legendary Sonny King, at Musicbykinginc & Music for Love International charity and record label, and his music has been synced across TV, film, and video games, including a previous collab with Sonny, ‘I Won’t Miss’, which was featured on ‘NBA 2K’, and the music behind the James Harden highlight film of 2021.

New single, ‘Stayed Down’ sees the pair collab again, blending Vanity Wyze’s lyrical intensity with Sonny King’s expert production. A breezy, feel-good track, it’s a compelling, birds-eye look at how hard the pair have worked to get as far as they have, and should serve as an inspiration to any listener.

The accompanying music video was shot in Charlotte, North Carolina, and features the rappers wearing Charlotte Hornets’ Melo Ball’s jersey, while hanging around iconic buildings like the Bank of America stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers.
