SAeid AK is a pioneer of Persian Pop, whose latest single, ‘Kheili Khaase’, tells the story of a love affair, from the first meeting in a club, right through to the wedding day. The song, which comes with a music video, can be streamed and downloaded here.
‘Kheili Khaase’ is a love song in two senses – not only does it relate a tale of love as outlined above, but it also reflects the love SAeid AK feels for his own music. And it’s very clear that SAeid AK loves making and performing music; the video for the track shows him performing in front of a large crowd, while footage of the wedding couple is spliced in between.
An accomplished Persian-Swedish artist, and a fixture in the Persian music scene, SAeid AK has released two successful albums so far, ‘With Me’, and ‘Future’, as well as a number of singles, and a duet the late international Tajik artist, Bahrom Gafuri.
SAeid AK’s aim is to take his appeal to a wider level, making use of his background in rock and western music, and gaining a larger audience internationally. With songs like ‘Kheili Khaase’ we can definitely see this dream become a reality.
