Singer/Songwriter Absent Minded Daze Asks ‘Why Did We’ And We’re Glad He Did

Singer /songwriter Absent Minded Daze, from Melbourne, Australia is set to release his debut single, ‘Why Did We’, on July 29, ahead of a launch show on the 31st of July.

Real name Davide Loguancio, Absent Minded Daze is an indie folk artist who grew up surrounded by music. He started playing drums at the age of 6 and began to play in bands and productions when he was 13. Davide started Absent Minded Daze in 2014, and for the past year he has been performing in and around Melbourne, with his moving lyrics which have seen him compared to artists the likes of Damien Rice, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran.

Absent Minded Daze takes his inspiration from many different areas, including his own personal experiences, and he has been working in the studio with producers Valence and Brendan Marolla.

‘Why Did We’ is a gentle, heartfelt song, with lyrics that take the listener on a journey. With his gift for storytelling it’s easy to see why Absent Minded Daze has been identified as a star on the rise, with praise from the likes of Triple J, and Flavourmag.

Tickets are available for the single launch show on Sunday July 31, at The Evelyn Hotel, 351 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy, Victoria. You can buy tickets for the show through Eventbrite.
