Flume Says ‘Say Nothing’ In New Pop Single Featuring MAY-A

Flume is an Australian musician, DJ, and record producer, and with previous releases ‘Never Be Like You’, and ‘You & Me’, he skilfully brings the feeling of wanderlust to his listeners all over the world. Now he returns with new single, ‘Say Nothing’, which features the ethereal vocals of fellow Aussie, MAY-A.

MAY-A is allowed to explore the full range of her talents with this track, which completely captures the free-spirited nature of electronic music, as it indulges the listener in its hypnotic rhythms.

It’s a characteristic of Flume’s work to build immersive soundscapes, and with ‘Say Nothing’ his talent knows no bounds. The track is released in anticipation of his upcoming album, ‘Palaces’, which takes nature as its motif, and draws heavily on the beauty of Australia’s wildilfe.

In fact, Australia’s nature is a recurring theme in both the audio and visual concepts of the album, which saw Flume integrating recordings he made in the field, into his final master copy.

Additionally ‘Palaces’ is a cornucopia of talent, and features a star-studded list of collaborators, including Damon Albarn, Caroline Polachek, KUCKA, LAUREL, MAY-A, Oklou, Virgen Maria, and Emma Louise. With this new album Flum hopes to bring to life the magic and beauty of the natural world through the medium of electronic dance music.

‘Say Nothing’ comes with an alluring music video, which incorporates abstract themes as well as footage shot in Australia’s bush. The bright colours of the Australian landscape are reflected in backdrops and interior shots, as well as on Flume’s motorcycle and riding leathers.
