Brownie Wilson Releases Debut Single ‘Soul Baby’

Set for release on 21 January, ‘Soul Baby’ is the debut single for Brownie Wilson, who has already made a name for himself as a sound engineer. ‘Soul Baby’ is available to pre-save here.

Brownie combines rapid flow rhymes with gospel backing vocals, set against a chill beat and brass instrumentals. ‘Soul Baby’ is a cross-genre track which is bound to appeal to a wide range of listeners, and as the first of seven tracks set for release, should certainly ensure Brownie Wilson’s place as one to watch.

‘Soul Baby’ is clearly dedicated to someone special in Brownie Wilson’s life, and we hope they hear and love the song as much as we do.

Having established himself as a reputable beat architect, audio engineer, and songwriter, Brownie Wilson certainly knows what it takes to make a great record, and has put all his expertise into ‘Soul Baby’. His sound is equally authentic, energetic, and story-telling, and includes a vast array of musical influences, including urban soul, slum rap, and trap funk.

Brownie has played piano and organ from a very young age, and during his musical career has produced and engineered for a number of underground artists in the Atlanta, Orlando, and Houston areas.
