Staunch Moderates – ‘Bill Maher’

Founded in 2019 by Greg Simmons and Bo Persiko, from Aspen, Colorado, Staunch Moderates started out as a group campaigning for a safe place for both political parties to have dialogue during the 2020 election. Now they are bringing their mission to listeners from all backgrounds, through the power of music to unify.

Their latest song, ‘Bill Maher’, may sound a little absurd from the title; an ode to the HBO political talk show host, the track is a rap about how Staunch Moderates met Bill at a sushi restaurant, and were struck by the impact his talk show has on the political sphere.

The accompanying music video features Casanova Ace and Greg Simmons performing to the camera, along with a special guest appearance from their mascot, an eight-foot-tall Bigfoot.

Staunch Moderates effortlessly manage to combine humour, seriousness, and lyrical genius together in every song they craft.
