As a follow up to the brilliant ‘Playing Alone’, the 20 year Danish newcomer has released a song which is her take on love and the way something can be addictive in its nature despite the way it can mess with your head.
Roseelu says:
“‘Fuck with my Feelings’ is about the insane state of mind you are in when you are in love- but also the addiction which I know way too well from past relationships.”
In style this song starts with the line “I feel like screaming though you’ve got nothing to say” and this is a theme that runs through the song with hard hitting lyricism against a melodic and hypnotic pop r&b backdrop. In delivery, Roseelu has something of Sia and Rihanna about her and for me it’s just a matter of time before the UK catches on to this exciting new singer. We have always had a great relationship with Scandinavian music and I expect this singer to be a feature in our charts in the not too distant future. She’s already in heavy rotation on national Danish Radio P3 with this song and her brilliant ‘Playing Alone’.
