Star2 – ‘Give Me Your Heart’ Ft YSN Flow

We first wrote about Star 2 back in February with his single, ‘If U Want To’. Now he returns with his latest single, ‘Give Me Your Heart’, featuring YSN Flow.

The pair work well together. The YSN in the Cleveland Ohio teen rapper’s name stands for “Young Successful Navigation” and he makes for a great collaborator with Star 2, who although he has been in the US since he was 5, was born in a refugee camp in Myanmar, and sees himself as a role model for other Asian Americans. It’s clear the pair are headed straight to the top in ‘Give Me Your Heart’.

Star 2 keeps the party going from dusk to dawn in the music video for ‘Give Me Your Heart’. But that’s just the starting point for his love story. The door guy lets everyone who wants to come into the party, which makes for a huge crowd. Star 2 still manages to spot his crush and asks for a chance to show her what no other guy has shown her before: true infatuation. YSN Flow serenades his girl while she makes herself comfortable on the countertop. “You’re the only one who knows how I feel,” he raps, revealing the fact that she is the only one he can be vulnerable around and making a point that it’s important everyone has a person like that in their life.

Star 2 escapes the party to show his girl a special place where the sunrise hits just right, and he shows her that giving your heart to someone means finding significance in the small actions; it’s a jacket offer when the morning light hasn’t warmed yet, it’s an arm around your partner when watching the sunrise, and most of all, it’s the idyllic connection between two people.
