‘Respuesta’ is the new single from David Appleton. The R&B artist, from Dominican Republic, imbues a catchy Latino flavour into the track, supported by a finger-plucked guitar instrumental. ‘Respuesta’ was released on February 26, and can be streamed and downloaded here.
“Respuesta” means “response” in Spanish, and the song focuses on that moment in a relationship when both parties want to go to the next level, but neither has the confidence to make the first move. The track, which Appleton described as exciting to write and record, is bright and filled with energy, as well as steeped in tender emotion. It’s the perfect antidote for the gloomy weather!
David Appleton started his music career singing in a hotel at the age of 10, and then progressed to writing his own music at 14. Besides singing, David also plays drums, which gives his pop songs a certain vibrant rhythm. With three albums under his belt, he has 50,000 monthly Spotify listeners, and is sure to become a household name.
