Moving from Nigeria to Canada at the age of nineteen, Sirius Wilde found his way into music by way of his love of art and graphic design, and eventually began his career in music in 2017. The RnB singer has released his mixtape, ‘Romanticism, Vol A’, and it’s now available on all digital streaming platforms.
Sirius released his first demo tape on Soundcloud last year, with a sound that has been described as “soulful and funk-laced”. He has supported the likes of Phat Pratt on tour, and takes his inspiration from The Weeknd, and Daniel Caesar.
The eight track mixtape is an intimate journey through Wilde’s relationships, with a range of emotions expressed in the songs, from the soft, tender moments, through to the more passionate experiences. All the while Sirius Wilde’s silky smooth vocals tell their story, compelling the listener, and drawing them in for more.
Influenced by love, heartbreak, passion, and vulnerability, ‘Romanticism, Vol A’ is an album expressed in full colour. Sit in the sunshine and take a listen; you’ll be sure to feel the love, and when you do, Wilde’s work is done.
