Snypa – ‘That’s It’

Just like his namesake, Snypa comes out of nowhere, dropping singles that cause people to sit up and pay attention.

The artist has forged his reputation in the underground scene of Atlanta, and is now set to take on the national circuit, with his new single, ‘That’s It’.

Accompanied by a music video, ‘That’s It’ sees Snypa spit out bars with confidence, in one of those rare tracks that feels right at home both hitting maximum volume on the dance floor, or setting the cool vibe in VIP. Snypa’s straight up and stripped down lyrics set the scene with stutter-step trap, while his collaborators, KID808 and Trell Got Wings, lay down the law with their deep hypnotic beats. ‘That’s It’ is the first release from Snypa’s upcoming LP, ‘Kinsman’, set for release through WraithTalkMusic, and certainly establishes the pace for what to expect.

In the clip for ‘That’s It’, we see Snypa and his crew turn up at what could be an old factory – it’s dark, it’s abandoned, and clearly industrial – but it could also be a super-exclusive club, the sort you need a password to get into. Shot by MI Visuals, aka The Pictureman, it’s raw and gritty, shot in black and white. Snypa and his crew are menacing and fierce, the clip is overlayed by old-school flickering, adding a narcotic feel to it, in keeping with the music. It’s dark and powerful stuff, not unlike the song itself.
