Latvian Pop Singer AGNESSE Releases Latest Single ‘Space Or Time’

Hailing from Riga, Latvia, but now based in the UK, where she combines her music and studies, Agnesse grew up listening to not only local talent, but also the music of international artists, such as Ariana Grande, Anne-Marie, and Dua Lipa. Her new single, ‘Space And Time’, was released on April 8, and is available on all major digital download platforms.

Agnesse has been performing live since she was a child, and has perfected her stage routine, which showcases her impressive vocal range. Agnesse has competed in various talent contests around Europe.

She reached the Chair Challenge stage of X Factor Latvia, won Baltic Talent 2016, and the Grand Prix of PopFest Jurmala in 2017, and was a finalist at the EuroPop Contest in Germany, among other competitions.

Last year saw Agnesse try out at the Latvian Eurovision selection contest, ‘Supernova’, singing her original song, ‘You Are My World’. She reached the semi-finals, and ‘You Are My World’ has been played on one of the biggest radio stations in Latvia, while garnering 150,000 Spotify streams, and 40,000 views on YouTube.

New single, ‘Space Or Time’, went through a journey of space and time itself,  taking nearly a year to complete, with the theft of a laptop meaning vocal samples had to be re-recorded and re-mastered.

The song speaks of the preciousness of time, and our almost universal desire to want to rewind it when our lives feel as though they’re going too fast. It’s a personal track for Agnesse, as she sings about wanting to spend more time with her loved ones.
