Joshua Israel – ‘You’re Not Alone 2.0’

Preacher and award-winning singer songwriter Joshua Israel is also a devoted husband and proud father of seven children. He grew up surrounded by music in the church with a father who was also muscially inclined, and he started singing in the choir, and playing drums in the church band, while still a child. At the age of 19 Joshua started leading the worship ministry, and writing his own songs, with an inspirational message of hope, and to remind people they are loved.

Israel takes his influence from everyone starting with James Brown to Kurt Franklin, and to Rod Stewart: he’s certainly a well-rounded musician. He writes about real-life situations, and won the award for Best Group/Duo at the 2016 and 2017 Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards, and has made several appearances on TBN, TV 57 (WATC/Atlanta, GA), Internet TV, Radio One Gospel Jazz Live (Atlanta, GA), Bobby Jones Presents, Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. and Rainbow PUSH Coalition Conference.

His latest single, ‘You’re Not Alone’, has a message to remind the listener that God is always with them. Inspiration for the song came when he was going through a difficult time and considering leaving the faith; he heard God’s voice in a dream, telling him, “It’s okay, you can leave – I’m with you, period.” The video was shot in the metro Atlanta area, and captures scenes of people when they’re feeling alone. Ultimately it reminds us that we can overcome whatever we’re faced with, because we’re never truly alone.
