Peter Cloud keeps them coming! This time it’s ‘Love In The Elevator’, his take on the Aerosmith classic, ‘Love In An Elevator‘.
Again, like his treatment of ‘Beat It’, he’s kept the primarily recognisable parts of the track, such as Steve Tyler’s humming at the start, and the refrain. He’s added only the bare minimum to the track, a strong backbeat and some discerning cuts, making his remix an enhancement of the original rather than a complete reworking.
It’s always a pleasure to review Peter’s work – he truly realises how many classics deserve remixing in order to bring them to a brand new audience. ‘Love In The Elevator’ is just another in a long line of tracks in which he’s done exactly that.
