All Faces – ‘Summer In London’

‘Summer In London’ is the second release from the eponymous debut EP by All Faces. Comprising Ben and Daphne, the duo formed in October 2017.

Although All Faces cite their influences as Ben Howard, Vance Joy, Bon Iver, and The Lumineers, the first person we’re reminded of when we listen to this track is Ed Sheeran, and that’s by no means a bad thing, and the pair’s distinctive pop/rock sound is very appealing and quite catchy.

Ben and Daphne were both born in Paris, and are seasoned performers. The pair have played at venues such as The Troubadour, The Alhambra, and The New Morning, in Paris.

Ben moved to the UK to attend BIMM in London, where he met Daphne. She herself had lived in many different countries, including South Korea and Belgium, before returning to France. Daphne first realised her passion for singing at the age of 12 and by 16 she had performed in many legendary Parisian venues, and thereafter moved to London in order to pursue her career.
