DJ Raiden teams up with YURI from KPop sensation, Girls’ Generation on his latest track, ‘Always Find You’. The young songwriter, beatmaker, producer and multi-instrumentalist has been on a quest to build bridges between Asian and North American pop, and with this new track he’s well on the way, with a song which is bound to appeal to both sides of the Pacific.
YURI, with Girls’ Generation, has sold over 4 million records worldwide, and topped the Korean album charts four times. Their last four releases have found their way to the Billboard Heatseekers charts, paving their way to conquering the US market. YURI is also a film and television performer, winning several awards in her homeland for her acting. She also contributes to the writing of Girls’ Generation albums, as well as choosing various adventurous and exciting musicians to work with.
This is where Raiden comes in. The young artist has had a meteoric rise, and emerged as a visionary producer with a distinctive sound, and a knack for pop. His 2016 single, ‘Heart Of Steel’ earned him recognition worldwide, with both Martin Garrix and David Guetta giving it air on their radio shows. ‘Always Find You’ is even more ambitious and catchy; with YURI singing it’s bound to take Raiden even further than he’s been before.
The video focuses on YURI: we see her in a tropical location, in a hotel, on the city’s streets, with her friends, dancing in a club. She’s doing everything effortlessly and glamorously. Raiden features too, as he’s performing with his band in the club YURI goes to with her friends: he’s the main attraction and he knows it.
‘Always Find You’ is out via Protocol Recordings, and can be streamed and downloaded here. Raiden is online on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, while you can find YURI on Instagram. Be sure to check out Girls’ Generation’s Instagram and YouTube accounts too.
