Shane Palko – ‘Don’t Fall In Love While Time Traveling’

We recently reviewed Shane Palko’s track, ‘Staring Out The Window‘, and spoke of his talent and unusual upbringing. The 28 year old, who has performed his music in over 20 countries and adds more to that list every year, has released another track, ‘Don’t Fall In Love While Time Traveling’.

Shane Palko’s passion for international cultures, paired with his passion for environmental issues, has meant he’s seen a lot over the years. Time travel is therefore more than just a phenomenon for Palko: as he explains, it’s something we do everyday. Some moments of our lives seem to move faster than others – as Einstein said,

“Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. That’s relativity.”

The video for ‘Don’t Fall In Love While Time Traveling’ is deeply personal for Palko, in effect a feature film from a tour he wrapped in Asia, as well as digitised film clips shot by his grandfather more than fifty years ago. In effect, the entire clip is about time travel, while Shane is seen playing his guitar and the gentle banjo and other instrumentation hold the song together along with his sweet soft voice.
