Following on from the release of their critically acclaimed eighth top ten album, ‘Jump On Board’ which debuted at #6 on the UK charts back in April this year, Texas have released the video for their latest single, ‘Can’t Control’.
With a punchy bassline driving the track, and front woman Sharleen Spiteri’s hauntingly beautiful vocals, ‘Can’t Control’ shows a more vulnerable sound. The track follows ‘Tell That Girl’, and ‘Let’s Work It Out’, both of which were playlisted by BBC Radio 2.
Texas started a huge sold out 21 date tour of the UK back in early September, including an incredible show at the Royal Albert Hall on the 17th, which saw the band joined on stage by Clare Grogan as their special guest. The band wind up the UK aspect of ther tour in Plymouth, before having a short break ahead of a further 31 dates, which sees them perform all over Europe, South Africa, and Australia.
Texas have sold over 40 million records, including 3 number 1 albums, 8 top 10 albums, and 13 top ten singles over their 30 year career.
