It’s hard to believe, but Keenan Willard only started writing songs at the start of 2019. His debut single, ‘Like You Do’, released ahead of an EP set to come out in the summer, sees him drawing on his North Carolina roots, and infusing his sound with the inspirations served by his surroundings in El Paso, where he is based, and works as a TV reporter.
There’s something ironic in the fact that Leicester’s Diesel Park West have named their latest single, ‘Scared Of Time’. The band formed in 1980, and their debut album, ‘Shakespeare Alabama’, was released in 1989. Their ninth studio album, ‘Let It Melt’, from which comes ‘Scared Of Time’, came out on September 13 this year.

Best known for their hit singles, ‘Fascination’, and ‘10,000 Nights’, as well as their eponymous debut album, the Danish pop group from Silkeborg return from a six year hiatus with their new single, ‘Shadows’. Their fourth album is set for release later this year via Warner Music. Lisa caught up with the group after their recent appearance at SXSW and asked them six quick questions!
A BOI – aka the cleverly named Absolutely Bereft Of Imagination – is the latest project from Austin Texas artist, TaSzlin, better known as one third of the uncompromising social justice warrior trio, BLXPLTN. With A BOI he examins his more meditative side, and his latest track, ‘See Through’, is dreamily electronic, and altogether trippy.

The Texas based artist made a name for himself posting his dance compilations on (the sadly missed) Vine, showing off his skill and reaching and influencing a massive following. Now his latest single, ‘Focus’, highlights his singing talents, while a music video is a showcase of his dancing prowess.
Adrian Conner is back with her new single, ‘Unspeakable’. The singer songwriter who is the lead guitarist of AC/DC tribute band, Hell’s Bells, released three studio albums, including ‘Be Your Own Savior’, 2014, ‘Hush!’ in 2015, and ‘SpazKitty’ earlier this year. She’s also opened for the likes of Concrete Blonde, Brody Dalle, The Texas Tornados, Girl in a Coma, Patrice Pike, and Zepparella.
