Niker Groze – ‘Shake That Booty’ (ft. Roe Nelle)

Something’s going down in Toronto. People everywhere are dancing, and the only clue is a red heart appearing on the dancers. So goes the premise of the very fun video for ‘Shake That Booty’, featuring Roe Nelle, by Canadian pop/hip hop artist, Niker Groze.

Niker Groze calls himself a new age hip hop artist, and describes his track as:

“Everybody has their peaks and valleys, the ups and down, the daily struggle!
This is a track to let go of all that sh*#!** and just SHAKE THAT BOOTY!”

Released on May 24, ‘Shake That Booty’ from Indian born and Sri Lankan raised Niker, most certainly does what it claims –  uptempo and fun, and encourages us to get up and dance, and shake off the worries of the world.

Niker has lived in North America for over twelve years, and enjoys hip hop artists including Eminem, Drake, and Kanye West. He credits Lil Wayne with getting him into the lyricism of hip hop.

Niker Groze says,

“I believe in hard work, chasing perfection, sticking to the plan with persistence, and then letting go beyond that. Music is in my blood, hiphop is in my bones, rhymes flow in my head day and night. It’s like a disease but I love it!”
