YES LAD, from England’s North West, are five young guys determined to succeed. All able to sing, dance, write and play killer tunes (not to mention harmonise beautifully), they are sure to set the charts alight with their debut track, ‘Walk Away’, set for release on April 28.
The band launched the video for the song at a press lunch earlier this week, to great acclaim. Shot in Manchester, the video showcases the talents of each band member, illustrating that the group are exactly that – each bringing their individual talents to create a united force.
YES LAD, mentored by Nigel Martin-Smith, who of course brought Take That to the world, comprise Cian Gleeson, Joel Healey, Sonny Hardman, Lewis Maxwell, and Jake Donlan. ‘Walk Away’ is an electro pop song, written by the members of the band, and produced by Sky Adams, who has also worked with the likes of Rizzle Kicks, Ella Eyre, Rixton, and Kate Nash.
