Justina Valentine ‘Crushin On You’ feat. M80

Justina Valentine’s album, ‘Scarlet Letter’ garnered her some success last year. Now the fiery red-haired singer songwriter and rapper is back with her new single, ‘Crushin On You’, featuring M80.

Justina never stops creating, performing, and getting her music heard – whether it’s being on Nick Cannon’s ‘Wild’N’Out’ to international tours with the likes of Mike Stud and Futuristic, to airplay on huge radio stations. Her latest track, ‘Crushin On You’ was perfectly timed to drop on Valentine’s Day, and comes with a fabulous video. Teaming up with M80, the song marries influences from pop, soul, and hip-hop, and combines to become her very own eclectic, and memorable, sound.

The video makes use of Justina’s unique vocal stylings, which are well-matched to M80s. The pair are at a party, and Justina and M80 try to win each other’s affections. The pair are “Crushing on you like the fifth grade”. There’s a nice use of colour and light, and the video was directed by fellow New Jersey native, Ronald Reid. Reid also directed Justina’s video for ‘Muse’.
