Check out the latest video from Red Sky July. Their new single, ‘Walking Country Song’ is taken from their upcoming third studio album, ‘The Truth And The Lie’. The song is inspired by the task of having to split up a record collection after a break-up.
Recorded in the band’s own studio, they were joined on the album by twice Grammy-nominated, Nashville based singer songwriter, Beth Nielsen Chapman. Ross Hamilton provided the rhythm on the bass and drums, and long time collaborator Mark Neary, who’s worked with Noel Gallagher, U2 and Adele, among others, added some authentic country twang on pedal steel guitar. Dave Etherington played Wurlitzer electric piano and percussion. The band recorded, mixed and mastered everything themselves.
