Colour House – ‘The Only Way’

Colour House 4

Colour House, from London, describe their music as Anglicana-Americana; their new single, ‘The Only Way’, has a stripped back sound reflecting their many influences, including country, folk, rock and indie.

Recorded at Sound Lounge Studios, in Merton, South London, the single, ‘The Only Way’ tells a tale of conflict: asking if it’s the only way we know how to settle disputes; to fight, to battle, to go to war over things that shouldn’t really matter in the end. “Is this the only way that we know how?” A seasonal tune in a lot of ways – it’s the time of year when we reflect on those who have gone before us, what we’ve done, what we could have done better. ‘The Only Way’ is a song of hope, causing us to wonder if we could actually find a different way to solve our differences.

You can find Colour House on Twitter, Soundcloud, and their website (currently attributed to South Town Lost, their former band name).
