Roses And Cigarettes’ Self-Titled Debut EP ‘Acoustic Sessions’

With a name inspired by the Ray LaMontangne song of the same title, Roses And Cigarettes comprises Jenny Pagliaro and Angela Petrilli, and formed in Los Angeles, back in 2013. The duo have just released their ‘Acoustic Sessions’ EP, which, as the name suggests, is made up of six acoustic tracks.

We’ve had a good working relationship with Peppermint Heaven for several years now, and they even did an Essential Weekly Playlist for us back in 2016. The duo comprising Juno and Spark, based in Los Angeles, are strongly influenced by the likes of Tears For Fears, Pet Shop Boys, Simple Minds, New Order, Howard Jones, Psychedelic Furs…..among others – so it’s no surpise to see a few of those names turn up in their Essential Weekly Playlist.

MaWayy – ‘Wrong’

‘Wrong’ from MaWayy has all the elements of a great summer song. Downtempo, yet energetic enough to get the party moving.
