Greetings once again from sunny Tel Aviv, as we reach the business end of Eurovision week. On Tuesday, ten countries qualified for the final including Iceland and San Marino for the first time since 2014, and seven went home including the departure of Eurovision veteran Joci Papai from Hungary and Darude from Finland.
Also known as Emily Underhill, Tusks has made a real statement with her brand new single ‘Peachy Keen’. An artist and producer associated with One Little Indian Records, she has been making expansive sounds since 2014, breaking through with a sublime cover of Disclosure and Sam Smith’s iconic, ‘Latch’ that quickly racked up plays.

Afterwards we had the immense privilege to speak to Icelandic actress, Kristin Þóra Haraldsdóttir, star of the recent release, ‘And Breathe Normally’, directed by Isold Uggadóttir.
Half Icelandic and half English, singer-songwriter Fredrik Ferrier is set to rock the global music market with his debut single out today. ‘Feliz Navidad (She Stole My Heart)’ was co-written by Simon Climie and iconic Icelandic composer producer Bjarni Biering, who also co-produced it. Additionally the track features magnificent trumpet playing from Simon Gardner.
