Yesterday, on August 9th, British rock band The Struts announced the release date of their upcoming fourth studio album, ‘Pretty Vicious’ – releasing on November 3rd, the new piece will be their first since October 2020. The platinum-certified band have been hard at work since the beginning, touring with legendary acts such as the Rolling Stones and the Foo Fighters, with the latter praising them for their performance.
Yesterday, the Polynesian metal outfit Shepherds Reign announced the release date of their latest work, an album titled ‘Ala Mai’ – releasing on the 25th of August on Golden Robot Records. Alongside the album release date, the first single, ‘Nafanua’, was also stated to be releasing on the 4th of August, and a set of five New Zealand tour dates were also included in the group’s big announcement.
What promises to be one of the highlights of 2020, Kasabian have announced a massive hometown show at Leicester’s Victoria Park for June 20th, six years on from their triumphant first show at the venue. It’s their first outdoor UK show since their massive Isle of Wight headline set and their first UK show since a raucous Brixton Academy set in 2018.
AARDMAN and STUDIOCANAL have released a new trailer for SHAUN THE SHEEP MOVIE: FARMAGEDDON featuring “LAZY”, an original song performed by The Vaccines and Kylie Minogue. “LAZY” will feature in the movie opening in cinemas worldwide this Autumn. Also revealed today is a cameo from British YouTuber and Strictly Come Dancing finalist Joe Sugg who recorded his surprise performance as “Pizza Boy” with Directors Richard Phelan and Will Becher over the summer.
Following a great start to the year for rising stars New Hope Club, the band have now announced their first ever UK headline tour taking place in September and October 2019 and also confirmed their new single will be ‘Love Again’. Fans should be ready for 3rd May which will see ‘Love Again’ available on all digital partners to stream and download, and tickets for the tour on general sale.
