Tisha Hunter – ‘Right Now’

Born and raised in Harlem, New York City, Gospel artist Tisha Hunter is no stranger to the music industry, having achieved great success in the early 1990s as part of the RnB girl group, Ex-Girlfriend, who were signed to Warner/Reprise by music biz legend, Benny Medina. Their song, ‘Why Can’t You Come Home’ hit the number 3 spot on the Billboard charts. They followed this up with appearances on Soul Train, BET, Showtime At The Apollo, world tours, music videos, and on movie soundtracks. Ex-Girlfriend was the opening act for Prince in 1992 at the Jack the Rapper music convention, and were later invited to perform at his club in Minneapolis.

AV Super Sunshine – ‘Baby Goodbye 2020’

AV Super Sunshine’s new single isn’t that at all. It’s a new arrangement. Originally released in 2014, ‘Baby Goodbye’ was followed by a hip-hop remix video, and 3 years later, ‘Baby Goodbye 2017 Dance’, a club-flavoured house-remix. ‘Baby Goodbye 2020’ is an updated take on the original, effortlessly smooth-gliding, while combining modern sounds with a heavy dose of retro-guitar heavy 60s psych, 70s hard rock, and soulful female vocals.

Yachtclub101 – ‘Leave Me Alone’

Scott Ayers was once upon a time in an up and coming indie band called The Lovemakers. Since that time he’s been running a bar, The RIC, which was mighty successful…until Covid-19 happened and then, well, Scott decided he had to do something else. He sold the bar, and got into music, and will release three albums: the first will be released on November 13 this year, with albums 2 and three released exactly a year and two years later respectively. First track from LP1 is ‘Leave Me Alone’, accompanied by a music video, the latter of which should be avoided if you’re allergic to – or just don’t like – cats.
