Grey DeLisle – ‘Tonight You Belong To Me’

Grey DeLisle’s album, ‘Borrowed’ has the audacity to cover songs from T. Rex to Willie Nelson and from Pink Floyd to Hank Williams, and features string arrangements by Eric Gorfain (Radiohead, Coldplay) and Tammy Rogers (The Steeldrivers, Victoria Williams). You’ll have to wait to hear it in full however, as the album won’t be released until later in 2021. Meanwhile, you can check out the second single and video, ‘Tonight You Belong to Me’, which was previously recorded by The Honeys in 1969, and produced by Brian Wilson, of The Beach Boys.

sad alex – ‘california queen’

The name “sad alex” was given to her by her close friend Justin Pagano, as Alex was looking for a performance name. Her new single, ‘california queen’, is a little bit sad too.

Jane N’ The Jungle – ‘Trouble’

‘Trouble’, the new song from Jane N’ The Jungle, is an absolute killer rock waltz. With stop-start guitars and blistering leads setting the stage for Jordan White’s incredibly versatile voice, along with Brian Dellis on guitar and Bryan Dague on bass, it’s a massively cathartic hook.

Michael Lanza – ‘Friend’

Michael Lanza last hit our page back in January, with his collab with rapid-fire rapper, Chow Mane, ‘Islands’. Now he returns with ‘Friend’, an incredibly upbeat and catchy new pop song.

Wé McDonald – ‘Head up High’

Wé McDonald’s independently-released single, ‘Head Up High’, is a song that could well be about her home town of Paterson, New Jersey, and the video she’s paired it with could be about Paterson too.

Star2 – ‘Give Me Your Heart’ Ft YSN Flow

We first wrote about Star 2 back in February with his single, ‘If U Want To’. Now he returns with his latest single, ‘Give Me Your Heart’, featuring YSN Flow.

Feriano JX – ‘Night Fall’

Los Angeles plays host to an incredible array of musical artists, and the latest one we’d like to introduce to you is Feriano JX, the stage name of Jacob, who came to the USA from Cameroon, Africa, 11 years ago. After attending high school and college, in Maryland, he went to Montgomery College to study business, before moving to California, where he currently works in Cyber Security. His real passion of course, is music, and Feriano JX takes inspiration from the likes of Michael Jackson, Nas, and Jay-Z among others. His good friend Jeremiah Bland pushed him relentlessly, and we thank him, because now we get to hear his first ever single ‘Night Fall’ – and there’s plenty more where that came from.

Dynamyte: Your New Obsession Just Exploded Onto The Scene

A social media slam-dunk who prides herself on authenticity. A multi-talented drummer, Tae Kwon Do fighter, vocalist and guitarist whose skills are all shared online. There are many things about rising internet sensation DYNAMYTE which seemingly contradict each other at first sight. But what remains clear, is that this is the kind of artist who takes contradictions in her stride, who is unafraid of being wholly and totally herself.

Hi Love – ‘Queen and Slim’

Taking her influence from Minnie Riperton, Aaliyah, and Stevie, Chicago’s Hi Love’s vocals will fill you with fire and leave you with chills. Speaking with Hip Hop Weekly, she condensed her approach to making music in just one line: “Get busy and work like any day could be my last day.”

Ugotaya – ‘No Dey Lie’

Born in Lagos, Nigeria, but now living in Atlanta, Georgia, Ugotaya raps and sings with authority and the air of a statesman. His music is a lot of fun, as he skilfully blends into his music the perspective of an African, and an African-American. His new single, ‘No Dey Lie’, lets his voice go full throttle, and the track is the perfect example of his style: drawn from Dirty South rap, deep-rooted gospel soul, and dancehall that’ll melt your socks off with its island heat.

Kooly Bros ft Young Thug – ‘Drunk Mess’

Young Thug’s vocals are instantly recognisable: with their laser-like precision they hit their mark fast, while at the same time their otherworldly quality ensures that there’s no mistaking whose voice it is. It’s what’s made not only his own releases best sellers, but also why he’s been in such demand as the secret ingredient in hits by the likes of Camila Cabello, Calvin Harris, Post Malone, and many other pop stars. So given all that, it’s clear just what importance been added to ‘Drunk Mess’, the mesmerising single by pop-rap duo Kooly Bros, when Young Thug provided his vocals. Speaking of his fellow Georgians, he said,  “it’s their time.”
