SadGirl – ‘Breakfast For 2’

‘Breakfast For 2’ is the latest single from SadGirl, and it takes a look back at an earlier chapter in the band’s career. Their sound was established back in 2015 with their release ‘Breakfast Is Over’ – dreamy and lovelorn. ‘Breakfast For 2’ is still as heartbroken, but with a ramped up lushness. It’s their first release for Northwestern label Suicide Squeeze.

Ali Jacko Returns with ‘Somebody to Love’

Having retired from the world of Martial Arts, five times kickboxing world champion Ali Jacko was looking for a new challenge. He decided to follow his lifelong dream of being a musician and start a challenging project to release a new single every month of 2018 until November. July welcomed ‘Somebody to Love’, a playful and Jazzy track that truly shows a different side to Ali. The track is ironically witty, with smart lyrics that document Ali’s (previous) un-luck in love.

A singer-songwriter who’s probably equally known for her YouTube vlogging, as well as her writing – she released her debut book last year, ‘Feel Good 101: The Outsiders’ Guide to a Happier Life’, based on a series of videos on her main YouTube channel – she’s been releasing music 2012. She’s also toured extensively, most notably for us here at EP, when she supported Busted and Wheatus on their UK tour in 2016. ‘Villains’, out tomorrow, is her first full length album, after five EPs.
