SHTEEL’s New Single, ‘Hard To Hold’ Is A Pop Masterpiece

Released on the 11th of December, ‘Hard To Hold’ is the new single from London-based artist, SHTEEL. The track is available to stream and download here, and is out via Enjoy Record, and distributed by Ditto Music.

Originally from Romania, and raised in Greece, before moving to the UK as a child, SHTEEL developed his love for music at the age of nine. He first rose to the public eye with his performance on The Voice Romania, with his rendition of the Greek classic, ‘An Eisai Ena Asteri’, by Nikos Vertis. This led to a guest appearance on the popular Greek TV show, ‘Bonjiorno’. Earlier this year, he made his label debut, alongside fellow London-based Romanian artist, Akira, on the single, ‘Rewind’.

New single, ‘Hard To Hold’, had its genesis in the sun-drenched cliffs of Italy’s Amalfi Coast, where producer Sergiu Cociorva (professionally known as Zizzo World) was having a summer escape. Transfixed by the natural beauty all around him, Zizzo took that emotion and transformed it into an orchestral masterpiece, with layers of brass and string, that envelope and entrance the listener. SHTEEL’s vocals are powerful and rich, and the listener will quickly be impressed by his mature and polished sound.

‘Hard To Hold’ was recorded at the London studios of Enjoy Record, and mixed and engineered by Eastern European engineers Radu Duminica and Bunicu’ Magic.

SHTEEL is currently studying at the Notting Hill Academy Of Music, under mentorship connected to Relentless Records (Sony Music). Keep an eye out for this one – his star is certainly on the rise!

‘Hard To Hold’ is out now and is available to stream and download here. You can find out more about SHTEEL and his music online on Instagram, Facebook, Spotify, and Apple Music.
