Staunch Moderates‘ latest track, ‘Bigfoot’s Football Live’, retains the same ethos they’ve had across all their releases, that of an initiative to bridge America’s political rift, while blending satire, social commentary, and hip-hop into something much, much bigger than simply entertainment.
With ‘Bigfoot’s Football Live’, featuring rappers Kyle Knight and Casanova Ace alongside DJ Staunch, they give us something akin to a sports anthem, with the lyrics commemorating touchdowns, and Super Bowl dreams, all through hip hop.
As Greg Simmons says, “The energy of football, the rhythm of hip-hop, and the voice of our mascot all collide here”. They bring an infectious rallying cry, that’s both entertaining, and forging unity between all.
No Staunch Moderates track would be complete without a spectacular music video, and for ‘Bigfoot’s Football Live’ they not only amplify the larger than life presence of DJ Staunch, but also capture the roar of the crowd, and the charisma of the performers, giving the viewer the feeling of a half-time show at the Super Bowl. Sure it’s a parody, but imagine if Staunch Moderates were chosen to perform at next year’s Super Bowl! They’re kicking it!
