Ray Lumiere

Ray Lumière Releases Soul-Stirring Debut Single, ‘Oh My Heart’

Released on the 7th of September, ‘Oh My Heart’ is the debut single from Los Angeles artist, Ray Lumière. The track is a soulful pop tune, highlighted by jazz and R&B components, and was created entirely by Lumière in his home studio.

‘Oh My Heart’ is a deeply personal track, reflecting on the highs and lows of love; it should resonate with all of us who have experienced romance’s roller coaster of emotions.

Instrumentally supported by his Yamaha digital piano, Ray Lumière conveys turmoil through emotive vocals, that wend their way from grief right through to acceptance and resilience. ‘Oh My Heart’ was based on own experiences, and he hopes that listeners will relate, and find peace and solace through listening. It’s a deeply moving song that bodes well for what more the artist has in store.

In addition to his musical talent, what sets Lumière apart from others, and makes his debut so spectacular, is his ability to share his story in such a heartfelt way, reflecting both his upbringing in Los Angeles, and his South Korean heritage. His musical palette takes inspiration from a wide range of global sources, such as the UK, USA, Korea, and gospel traditions, and cites British artist Adele as one of his primary influences.
