LeAnn Rimes’ new album shines with fresh songs and all-star collaborations, featuring Luke Evans, Aloe Blacc, and Gavin DeGraw.
Just weeks after unveiling plans for her Greatest Hits Christmas Tour, two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning singer, songwriter, and multi-platinum-selling artist LeAnn Rimes is set to ignite the holiday season with the announcement of her first-ever ‘Greatest Hits Christmas’ album. The dazzling collection arrives November 7th via Curb Records on double vinyl, CD, and all digital platforms, perfectly timed to usher in the most magical time of the year.
Spanning three decades of celebrated holiday recordings, ‘Greatest Hits Christmas’ serves as the definitive tribute to Rimes’ enduring connection to the season. The double vinyl and digital release brings together fan-favorite classics, standout tracks from her beloved Christmas catalogue, and three brand-new originals destined to become modern holiday staples.
From her 1997 breakout holiday single, ‘Put a Little Holiday in Your Heart’, to a joyful rendition of ‘Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree’, and heartfelt highlights from her ‘It’s Christmas, Eve’ soundtrack, the album traces Rimes’ artistic and personal evolution through a festive lens – one that shines as brightly as ornaments on a tree and lights up the season with warmth and nostalgia.
Rimes captures a range of emotion throughout the collection – from a raw, stirring interpretation of Joni Mitchell’s winter classic, ‘The River’, to a powerful re-imagining of ‘Happy Xmas (War Is Over)’, offering a refreshed 2025 digital mix of the Lennon/Ono anthem previously available only in limited physical form. Adding a dash of playfulness and cinematic flair, Rimes welcomes global actor and singer, Luke Evans, (‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘The Hobbit’, ‘Fast & Furious’) for ‘There’s No Such Thing’, a cheeky, theatrical ode to holiday skeptics that offers a joyful glimpse into her forthcoming musical Christmas project, ’32 Hooves’.
Additionally, ‘Greatest Hits Christmas’ features standout collaborations with Aloe Blacc – the soulful singer-songwriter behind hits such as ‘I Need a Dollar’, on ‘That Spirit of Christmas’, and Gavin DeGraw on a moving duet of ‘Celebrate Me Home’.
Reflecting on the album, Rimes shared: “Christmas has always been a sacred season for me. Not just a time of year, but a space I return to in my heart. This collection is a reflection of the memories, the prayers, the playfulness, and the spirit I’ve poured into this season again and again”.
“Some of these songs I’ve sung since I was a little girl. Some of these songs bring out the big kid in me. Others came later, from a deeper place, when I started asking myself what the season feels like now as a woman, a wife, a stepmom, and someone who’s lived a lot more life”.
“So, this album is a gathering of big and small moments, glittering and grounded, that have shaped how I see Christmas and what it’s meant to me throughout my life. I hope when you listen, you feel the joy, the ache, the wonder, and the warmth that I’ve always felt singing these songs. And more than anything, I hope it brings you closer to yourself and the people you love”.
Co-executive produced by Rimes and longtime collaborator Darrell Brown, Greatest Hits Christmas is a joyful invitation to celebrate the season with one of the most beloved voices in contemporary music – a voice that has become synonymous with holiday warmth and wonder.
The release arrives just ahead of Rimes’ Greatest Hits Christmas Tour, which kicks off December 4 in Morristown, NJ, with additional stops in Nashville, Phoenix, Tucson, and more. Full tour dates and ticket information are available at www.leannrimes.com.
