Janet Devlin’s New Single ‘Houston’ Is Here To Remind You, Alone Is The New Party

Guess what? Being on your own is officially cool again, and Janet Devlin’s here to soundtrack it.

The Northern Irish singer-songwriter just dropped her latest single, ‘Houston’, and it’s exactly the anthem you didn’t know you needed. Highway guitars and Janet’s signature gravelly edge telling you it’s perfectly fine to vanish into your own little universe sometimes.

‘Houston’ is the first taste from ‘Not My First Emotional Rodeo’, the expanded version of her much-loved Emotional Rodeo album. This time round, Devlin’s not pulling any punches: she’s riding solo, steering clear of drama, and celebrating the fact that sometimes the best company is your own weird, wonderful brain. With tongue firmly in cheek and her boots firmly planted in the Nashville dirt, Devlin flips the idea of loneliness on its head. Solitude? It’s a party for one, and you’re all invited.

Fresh off big stage moments at C2C festival and with more festival slots coming up, including, The Long Road, and The British Country Music Festival, Janet’s proving she’s got more than a few rodeos left in her.

‘Houston’ is out now on OKGood Records. Blast it loud, grab your keys, and disappear into your own space for a bit, we promise Janet would approve.
