Directed Pugz Atoms, and shot in part around DuSable Black History Museum, in BEEWARE’s hometown of Chicago, the music video for ‘The Black Seed’ sees the artist deliver his message from the top of the stairs of the museum, making for a presence that is both commanding, and yet soothing at the same time. He brings with him on his shoulders the weight of history, reminding viewers that it only takes one voice to ignite into flame the sparks of meaningful change. With black and white visuals amplifying the drama and cinematic quality of the video, it additionally gives a nod to the history and culture that have gone before, while showing viewers a visual representation of what BEEWARE believes in, and where he has come from.
