TT’s New Release, ‘My Confession’ Tells The Story Of A Man Struggling With Hopelessness

Americana troubadour TT returns with ‘My Confession’, a story of a man struggling with the feeling of hopelessness as he and his wife find themselves facing financial hardship.

The artist confesses that,

“There have been many times in my deeper relationships (and not just romantic) when I have felt inadequate. Deep down, I just want to care for those I love, whether that’s a partner, children, friends, or others in need, and I struggle with feeling like I never give enough.”

When TT wrote ‘My Confession’, he says he always envisioned that it took place in a small, impoverished, and dying desert American community. The music video for the song, from his upcoming debut album, ‘Man On The Corner’, is TT’s third, and like the preceding two, is deeply rooted in his own musical tastes, personal experiences, observations, social implications of a variety of challenges, and the lessons he’s learned along the way.

The music video for ‘My Confession’ follows a couple in exactly the sort of town TT imagined. The husband struggles with the guilt he feels about the situation, but nonetheless, the strength of their bond ensures they remain together, during the toughest of times.

TT goes on to explain, “The song is his way of confessing that his perceived failures feel like a  great sin, and acknowledging his gratitude for her support and forgiveness.”
